I edit promos, sports highlight and recruiting reels, event recaps, memorial and tribute films, and social cuts, with color grading, audio enhancement, captions and motion graphics. Everything is cut in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro X, with AI tools applied where they help. Remote editing works by Google Drive, Dropbox or WeTransfer, and turnaround is quoted per project.

What areas do you serve?

How long have you been doing this?
John Shipp II has been filming and editing professionally for over 10 years and has served clients as a freelance videographer since 2016. Shipp Happens Production LLC was formed in 2026.
How do I reserve my date?
After a free consultation, you sign a contract and pay a 50% non-refundable deposit to lock in your date. The balance is due on delivery.
Do you use AI? Is my video AI-generated?
AI tools like ChatGPT, Kling, Runway and Adobe Firefly speed up editing and add options such as AI-generated b-roll, upscaling and stylized cuts. Any AI-generated or AI-enhanced element is disclosed in your agreement. The creative direction, editing and storytelling are always human-led by John.
How fast will I get my video?
It depends on the package. Social media promos take 3–5 days, highlight packages 1–2 weeks, and weddings have a rush 2-week option. Every package lists its turnaround.
Do you offer drone footage?
Drone aerials are coming in Q3 2026, after FAA Part 107 certification: $400 as an add-on or $800 for a standalone aerial project.
Are there any discounts?
Yes. Book 6+ months in advance for 10% off, and get a $150 credit for every client you refer who books.
What if I need to reschedule?
Contracts include a 12-month reschedule option.
